Telegram can be used in various platforms, and this time I want to explain some ways to run Telegram on Linux.
1. Run on the Browser
Telegram provides a site to access chat applications using a browser, so you don't need to install it on a computer. To open Telegram via browser, you can go to web.telegram.org.
2. Install it on a computer using the Software Center
Actually, many of the latest Linux distributions already provide Telegram as in the software center. You
can directly install it through the application if you don't want to be
bothered too much by writing commands to the terminal.
Please open the Software Center and search for Telegram, after that you select the install menu -> Authenticate using a password, and wait for the installation process to finish.
3. Run the application file from the official Telegram site
Besides the two methods above, you can get the application on the official site in here. In this case, you can immediately run the application that has been downloaded without the installation process after extracting it. Usually, the file provided has the tar.xz extension. Please select the version provided for Linux (32-bit or 64-bit).
Of the three methods, the easiest is the second method, which is using software center applications like in Ubuntu. However, if you use a distro that does not have a service store or software center, you can install it through the provided PPA, Flatpak, Snap, or appimage.
