This is purely from my experience using Linux Distros. I'm using Xubuntu from version 18.04, until 22.04. 2 upgrades(18.04 to 20.04, 20.04 to 22.04). I feel disappointed with the full upgrade, which always has errors and trouble. The worst is some error icon display problem from 20.04 to 22.04.
I'm a fan of the LTS version of Ubuntu. But the upgrade is useless. Because the error that appears has not been able to get a solution, even though I have tried browsing the relevant forums to find a solution to the problem.
In the end I definitely did a fresh install. ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04, some problems and upgrading both versions can only be resolved cleanly when I do a clean install.
This only wastes internet quota, time for resetting the system and apps that I need to work. And everything has to start from scratch. Finally I decided to look for another Linux Distro with a rolling release model. And my choice this time is Archcraft Linux.
When I wrote this article. I don't feel that I have significant and complicated problems (I didn't expect it to exist) when using Archcraft Linux, even though I rarely do updates and upgrades. Maybe once a week or once a month I do an update, while reading info whether there are problems with the latest update or not.
I'm not trying to badmouth any distro. The above is purely from my experience. And maybe in the future, I will write a tutorial related to the distro I'm currently using, Archcraft Linux. That's all, hopefully useful. ENJOY!
Update my opinion About This Distro
It turns out, after using it for several months, I often encounter problems when upgrading packages, even though when I first started, I rarely encountered this problem. And there is also not much community support that I follow, so we can't rely on forums to solve the problems we are facing. However, I admit that this distro has the simplest and coolest appearance.
